I’ve probably recieved 100 visitors ever from Technorati, and maybe 10 from MyBlogLog. I dropped the Technorati tags from my site in the last redesign…. and I may drop MBL next time around, if not sooner. It’s neat, but I haven’t gotten much ( any ) real benefit from it yet.
MBL visits will come if you reach out to other members, meaning visit and/or join their communities and leave them a note when you do so. Technorati visits come when you write posts that their users are interested in. We get about 2:1 Technorati to MBL, but could easily turn that around if we took the time to follow my own advice :0. MBL takes more actual “clicking/surfing” effort to get results. Technorati takes more “good content” writing to get results, IMO.
I have received more visitors from MBL than Technorati . I think MBL gets your blog much more exposure than Technorati .
