Six Things You Can Do If You Want To Help Me

I guess you can consider this to be (Part Two) of what I have learned recently. A reader had commented on my post saying that he wanted to help me, but didn’t know how to. My friend Alex pointed out to him some of the things that he could do to help me and that lead me to believe that I might have been failing to communicate you what is most important to me, in terms of giving back. 

If you want to help me in exchange for helping you, here are some things that you can do that are very important to me. You’ll also discover that most of these things that help me also help you. So really, if you think about it, I will help you two times in exchange for you helping me only one. That is an awesome deal for you!

Commenting - I really appreciate comments. In fact, I reply to most all of the comments left on my blog. In many ways, I value comments more than I value email. In fact, I answer more comments on my blog than I answer emails. If you want to speak with me, if you want to ask me a question, leave me a comment on a blog post. Doing so, not only will it be likely that you’ll get a direct response from me, but also it will give you more traffic to your own blog. 

Advertise - Unlike many other blogs, I have REAL ADVERTISERS on my blog (minus the Pepperjam Banner below) who pay me REAL MONEY for renting space on my blog. Had you hooked up on my facebook already but tweaked it a little bit, and I’ve been telling quite a few people in person. So for now that’s all the resources I’ve got until I get started with blogging and such.

Not sure if this comment will duplicate – I’m having a little trouble with my browser (vista!) but I already had you hooked up on my facebook, but I tweaked it a little more. Since I don’t have a website or blog yet that’s the only media I’ve got. I’ve been telling people too!

Garry, this was a great post to remind me of some things that I can do to pay you back. I speak for myself but I think a lot of us might get caught up in reading the great content and don’t think that you need us submitting your stuff to the social networks and stuff like that. It makes me think of one of my blogs where I also have the social networking icons below each post. They never get clicked but I haven’t asked anyone to do it either. There’s the standard blurb at the bottom of the post that says “if you liked this article please submit it to one of the services below” but it doesn’t work. There is a flipside too. My content could suck so bad that people don’t submit it. That’s not the case on your blog though. I’ll try to do better for you in that respect.

Oh yeah, what camera did you use to shoot that rainbow vacuum video?

When I saw the video you posted on creating a niche blog (deal blogs), I was so much awed by the stuff you were doing. I was stunned! I can’t find words to express my thankfulness to you for giving away such good content and stuff. I think you’ve converted me to your fan Garry!

You deserve a lot of appreciation and help. I think I can do a little by following all the things you’ve listed above.
