Seems like Firefox is releasing major version numbers when instead should be product or security updates.  This page is part of my Delicious Bookmarks.

You are correct about version numbers. They have joined Chrome in using major version numbers for minor updates. Firefox 5 should have been 4.1, and 6 should be 4.2.I updated on Sunday. The changes are hard to spot. One of my add-ons stopped working, but an update for that arrived today. My other browser is Opera, but it does have problems rendering some websites acceptably.
