Spotlight On Sites
Here is a brand new way to promote your site on Garry Conn dot Com. It’s called Spotlight on Sites and it is a brand new section that is being featured on the top of every page within my site. Every week I am going to feature a new site and display their banner and site information on the top fold of my pages. My home page is a PR4 page and within my site I have many pages that climb the ladder all the way up to PR6.
The amount of traffic on Garry Conn dot Com is truly amazing! I can’t believe how much the site has grown in traffic and visitor interest. I can’t thank my visitors and readers enough and one of the many ways I am giving back to the community here is by launching Spotlight on Sites.
How To Participate:
Participating is simple. First come first serve. Hurry quick to get your request in because the sites rotate on a week to week basis and I know for a fact that there will be a huge waiting list for this program! The service is totally free. Anyone can request to have their site put in the spotlight! Simply use the comment form below to submit your request. I will respond back and let you know if your site is accepted or not. Keep in mind that I am going to be selective in choosing sites for inclusion. I am only going to feature sites that provide my readers with a high level of quality and relevancy to their interests. If you feel that your site is top notch and something my readers would like to see, feel free to submit your request.

- Paid requests will be expedited and bumped to the top of the list. Kyle and I have quite a bit in common. We both are family guys, love technology and love to blog. The promotion as been running less than a day and there is already tons of requests. 10 Weeks isn’t too bad… of course you made the comment prior to me changing it. So I guess you knew that you were looking at a 10 month wait. So 10 weeks isn’t too bad!
You are very welcome and it is well deserved. You work very hard on your site and it is one of my personal favorites! So you better get used to being the guinea pig on a lot of my creative marketing and traffic building promotions!
I don’t sleep much at all. I average about 2 to 3 hours per night *or rather morning before my kids wake up. And yes, I am a very fast worker… this is just a personal blog site of mine. I run a ton of other sites too!
My wife is the opposite on sleep requirements. And it still amazes her how I can operate and function properly off such little amounts of sleep. I know it is bad for me, but man… I just can’t deal with being unconscious for long periods of time. There is too much going on, too much to miss… 8 hours of sleep is 33.34% of a day! That is total madness to miss out of so much of the day! I just can’t conceive of doing that. I have about two days of the week where I do sleep in till about ten, and it does feel pretty good to be able to just sleep! I know clinically that you can’t make up for lost sleep, but man it sure does feel like I can on my two sleep in days!
Wow. So are you going to list your other blogs for us? Or do you have them listed at mybloglog? I can’t remember.

I didn’t reply to the rest because it had only been a day since my last response and there is a 10 week wait from the point where I stopped. Not to worry, all is good!
ah great, thanks for the quick heads up. were you able to delete that comment that took you to a malware site?
I noticed you were running some kind of auto-moderation script for the comments: usually those are good against bots, but if dodgy users enter content manually it is useless, too.
I can imagine that monitoring every comment that is being made on your blog is hard, so if you don’t mind I will keep you posted about things I spot?

I would love for you to do that. It is hard. Because as you know, I am already having some issues with real comments getting held or deleted. I have to moderate the comments that go live, but I also have to moderate the spam comments and try to sift through them for real comments that get missed (the harder task).
