Subscribe To My Premium Content Email List
Well, I have finally done it. I have decided to offer a free but “Members Only” premium grade content subscription service available exclusively through email only.
I don’t give away all my secrets on my blog. There is much to learn with blogging and I have a lot I can teach you. The reason why I am willing to offer a premium grade content publication by email is so that I can build an email list.
I’ll be honest. Building an email list gives you authority and power. This is a very common and widely abused strategy among Internet marketers. Most Internet marketers build up email lists with ill intentions. I simply want to help people become better bloggers and in the process of doing so, I’ll build up a private label community of subscribers who will in return help me increase my level of authority and power as a leader in my niche.
The difference between me and many of the other Internet gurus out there is the simple fact that I want to help others discover and learn what I know. In return for doing that, it allows me to increase my popularity which will eventually lead me into a better position to land private advertisement contracts on my blog as well as internally within my email and RSS feed subscription.
I am not here to push affiliate products down your throat. I am not here to attempt to trick you into buying eBooks. Simply put, I want to position myself into a level of popularity that is attractive to advertisers. My email publication service is handled with Aweber.com. They are very secure and extremely strict with enforcing “No Spam” policies. Additionally, I pay $19.95/ month for this service. I’ll be watching with interested Garry! I’ve also just reached a stage where I feel that I want to build a list but I haven’t started quite yet. I’m planning on doing a newsletter that complements my blog (as opposed to a premium version like you have).

Thanks for the comment and for joining. This is totally surreal with the number of people who have subscribed. I didn’t know that Aweber.com was going to send me an email everything someone joined up. In a way I am glad they did, because it is real fulfilling to see how many people joined so far. Caroline makes an excellent point that I should address. My newsletter is not seperate from my blog. Both my blog as well as the newsletter will compliment each other. However, the newsletter will have tons of treasures not found on my blog.

Forest… the easiest thing to do is look for the highest search count with the lowest # of competition… look for the green lights.

This is great. I love this “Internet Marketing for People Who Are Trying To Do The Right Thing.” That gives us an acronym of IMPWATTDTRT. Not so good from a marketing perspective. How about Internet Marketing For Everyone Doing Useful Projects (IM-FED-UP)!!!
Anyway, I wonder if we could/should come up with a group project that was right-minded and helpful that we could all contribute to. We could restrict to just a few people that we liked based on reputation (I am arrogantly including myself, I know).
Just a thought….
Anyway, I cannot wait for your email list. I am really excited about IM these days. I am not sure I will ever make any money at it, but right now I don’t even care. This is the coolest combination of tech, soft skills and business I can imagine.

The process is fairly simple. Visit Aweber.com and sign up for their service. Here is my referral link. After you sign up, you’ll want to put your online form up on your blog. And then after that you’ll need to think of some ideas for your mailing list. I wrote a post that will help you think of ideas for your mailing list.
