Successful Blogging Tips #05

Successful Blogging Tips Hey everyone! I have set out to this month to gain even more readers by contributing on other successful blogs this month. As much as I want my site to grow, I also want others to grow as well. The blogosphere is one of the most giving and contributing social networks I have seen. Web 2.0 and the movement of the Internet is amazing. I have been online for a long time and I have to say that I am having more fun today than I ever had before. I have met and helped so many wonderful people and I want to continue to help even more. So many people tell me that their sites don’t get traffic and they wonder why my site gets so much traffic. People also often wonder why my posts get so many comments and theirs don’t. The solution is simple. You have to be proactive and round up the traffic yourself. It can take a long time to really find a good seat in the search engines. It can take a long time for people to discover your site. If you want traffic and readers to your site, do what I do and round em’ up! Make guest appearances on other sites.

Contributing on other sites recruits more readers to your site as well as helps the site you are contributing on. It’s a win / win scenario for both  yourself as well as the site you are contributing on. You gain more readers and the existing readers enjoy the site you contributing on even more!

I am making guest appearances so far on a total of 12 different blogs sites. I don’t know if I will be able to hit everyone… but I am going to try! Today, I want to point you over to two articles that I have written this week on two very successful blogs. I would enjoy very much for you to read my articles and drop me a warm and encouraging comment on each of these articles. Also, if you haven’t heard of these blogs, I personally recommend you saving these sites to your favorites and subscribing to their feeds. I contribute on top level blogs who are close to breaking loose in popularity in the blogosphere. My goal is to help give them the added push needed to get them to A level blog status. With my help and most importantly, your help, together we can help a fellow blogger out by increasing their traffic and readership.

Can I Make Big Money Online?

Make Money Online

Seems like a question most people ask… well, my good friend, George Manty is attempting to do just that. Make big money online! His successful blog documents his progress and shares a treasure of knowledge and teaches thousands of bloggers how to make money online. Over the last four months George has achieved huge success been ranked in the top 10 for “make money online” in Google for about four months. It just moved into the top 5 last week (from number 6). Hopefully it stays in the top 5. George is on the right path towards huge success. I have known George for over a year now and I support his efforts and will do everything I can to help his site continue to grow.

I want to personally invite ALL my readers to read a wonderful article I wrote on Can I Make Big Money Online titled, “A Modern Day Approach Towards Finding Success With Google Adsense“.

Blog About Your Blog

Blog About Your Blog

I have to say, this blog is the best thing since the invention of bubblegum! This is a community driven blog site where a handful, hundreds, or even thousands of bloggers can come to one site and blog about their blogs. Self promotion for free! The site gets even better. Most of the bloggers who write on the site are very skilled writers and put forth 110% effort in writing. They know that creative, entertaining, informative and useful articles is what wins readers over. So typically, the level of quality you can find on that site is extremely high.

I want to personally invite ALL my readers to read a wonderful article I wrote on Blog about Your Blog titled, “It’s Not Always About The Money“. This is actually a continuation of my first post titled, “It’s Not Always About Traffic“.

Garry, I found your blog through the mybloglog meme. IndiaPRBlog taggged me in it and this is my first visit to your site. Great blog. HobbitHob tagged me on my Murphy’s Law Blog….I love what you are doing here….its great!

    Garry,

Quick correction. My blog has been ranked in the top 10 for “make money online” for about four months. It just moved into the top 5 last week (from number 6). Hopefully it stays in the top 5. I don’t really advertise this fact.

Also, I think John Chow’s site suffered from the Google Sandbox algorithm. His plan wasn’t 100% effective for staying out of the sandbox. Obviously, his blog didn’t stay in the sandbox long…

    • Garry Conn says:

George, I made this correction to the post. Thanks for clarifying! :) All in all, I am happy to see John Chow back. I really am… he works his tail off on his blog and I have seen this happen many times before (including myself). It is great that he has the resources to rebound so quickly. I am very pleased knowing that you are right up there with him. Keep up the awesome work! :)

      • George says:

        Thanks Garry.

I like this comment plugin you are using. It’s kind of cool. Is it hard to manage or is it easy to work with? Have you written a post about it?

Also, what comment plugin do you use for people to subscribe to your comments?

        Thanks again,
        George
