The Biggest MySpace.com Loser

The more I blog and meet wonderful people in the blogosphere, I guess the more people get to know me. My blog may be gaining a little bit of popularity among bloggers, but let me tell ya… it’s a different story on MySpace! You see… I am actually the Biggest Loser on MySpace.com!
Let’s recap: I have have had a total of 9 comments on MySpace. Three are from my teen daughter (who is a MySpace Expert and gives me advise… LOL!!!) and four comments are from my wife, who is in the same boat as me. (MySpace Loser) and two are comments that I made myself (Teen daughter says that’s bad… makes you an even bigger loser). lol!!!
I created a MySpace account to help gain more readers to the site. So far, it’s not working! But, all joking aside, I really haven’t mingled too much on MySpace. I am too busy deleting spam emails and friends requests from hot Russian 18 year old girls who want to she me their pics.
I haven’t put forth much effort towards using MySpace.com as a means for marketing my blog; however, I can speculate. And at this time, I don’t think MySpace.com will do anything for me trafficwise. But, we’ll see.
If you have a MySpace account and would like to help me get out of this “Biggest MySpace Loser” status, visit Garry’s MySpace and add me as your friend!

In my opinion, myspace bloggers is only giving headache in form of hotlinking to pictures on your blog, stealing bandwidth!!!!
Only bad experiences, sorry

Nothing to be sorry about there! I value your opinion and hold none myself just yet other than the negative experiences I have so far to date.
Wow.. and no doubt… you have over 2000 pictures within flickr… I am sure that is a constant battle for image theft and bandwidth robbery. How has flickr been doing for you with such a mass amount of images? I have tons of pics of family and friends but feel like I can’t find a good place to host them other than my own domain… and that makes me nervous too because I can get hacked and all goes bye bye!!
So I keep all my pics offline… wishing I should share them safely online.

Hi Laura,
I love seeing new faces. Thanks for dropping me the comment. I just visited your site and dropped you a comment on your about me page. I really like it when bloggers take the time to write a nice about me page. Blogs can get to the point to where you don’t really have a feel for who you are talking to or reading about. Your blog is great. In 30 seconds, I learned a lot about who you are as a person and why you blog. Nice work!
And as far as the MySpace goes… yeah, I guess you are right… having your teenage daughter repremand you publically and show you the proper rules and ethics of MySpace is better than nothing at all! LOL!!!
I never really felt old and un-cool until I created a MySpace account. You always thank your kids for helping with keeping things real!

Thank you for your nice comments about my “me” page. I know what you mean about feeling old at MySpace. lol! Have you tried Facebook? I’ve heard it called the MySpace for grown-ups. I’m fairly new over there and I’m still figuring things out with it. But it’s pretty awesome.

FaceBook is great. My friend, Kyle showed me FaceBook awhile back. I love it. And yes, it is a much better than MySpace.
