In 2002, a young college kid named Brent Oxley, decided to create a hosting service for himself and a few of the other students at the Florida Atlantic University. Today, that little endeavor is known as HostGator.com and is quickly becoming one of the leading web hosting companies on the Internet, hosting about 1% of all sites online.
What started out as a dorm room project is now a leading corporation with more than 175 employees and looking to hire a few more. Brent and the rest of the HostGator.com team have moved their business from their college in Florida to a high rise in Houston, Texas. And it’s not just another one of those form letters. It’s no wonder HostGator.com is quickly becoming one of the top hosting companies on the market today.
The management team is a group of people who work hard everyday to ensure that HostGator.com runs as efficiently as possible. Other than CEO Brent Oxley, the management team includes:

Garry,
I totally concur. I’ve been with HostGator now for over 2 years and my wife and I have many domains hosted with them. I’ve had very few problems, and the ones I have had were resolved with either an e-mail, live chat or phone call to tech support. With Fantastico built in, it’s a snap to add a blog, forums, helpdesk … all of which we have done. AAA+ in my book.

I started hosting a hand full of sites with these guys less then a month ago after reading about Host Gator on garryconn.com.
Everything has been great. I am really happy with the change - and it is great value for money.

I love Hostgator, and their support is very quick and has always helped me out. I usually use the chat…as that’s more my way of communication lol.

I started with them a few months ago. I’ve been impressed with the fact that their support is always fast and they seem to go above and beyond with the technical support side of things!

I am sure if you call them, they can offer a tour of their facility. Now wouldn’t that be an awesome blog post to publish.

I have a day off in the next two weeks so I’ll call them up and see if I can get a video or something for a blog post. It should be very interesting. Sadly though, HG is the only company I recognize on that list aside from 1 other one.

I’ve been more than happy since I signed up with HostGator.com. Not only did they email me when they began the process of transfering my site, they sent me a couple more along the way to make sure I was up to date on everything they were doing. Everything was done in less than 24 hours.
Thank you Garry.

Hey,
I’ve heard some pretty good things about HostGator lately; it’s like they’re all over the place. HostGator was one of the first hosting companies I was going to go with, but ended going with BlueHost as I found some things to be better than HostGator — oh well, to each their own.
Chef? At work? At a hosting company? Who cooks for employees? That has to take the ball if anything else doesn’t!

I like Hostgator , I’ve been using them for one of my sites for a while and was very impressed with there services.
However, for my latest site I decided to use GoDaddy and found them to be even better. Not only did I get excellent services, $100 of PPC vouchers I also got a free Blog as well. Perfect for driving extra traffic to my site.

I was going through a real hosting nightmare. I went through 4 webhosts. There was always this or that stupid problem. #3 was really the worst and my sites were constantly down. The support staff of that one did everything but flip me off with a polite smile
I finally went to Hostgator and GOD it was a breath of fresh air. They have truly earned their reputation. They do go out of their way to help, even beyond their duties. At times I expected to be told “sorry we don’t provide support for Wordpress” when I was tearing my hair out. But no, they took the extra time and handled the problem.
I could go on and on but - yes … hands down, Hostgator.
And I was living in Florida in 2002! Doesn’t seem so long ago - wow!
