Garry it was an excellent article. Going by Court’s wording, this article was geared towards the flagship blog; I have my local niche blog that focuses on my local area. The vast majority of the internet doesn’t care about my area, so I’m focusing on local sites (forums) and offline word of mouth.

Hi Shawn,

I am glad that you enjoyed the article. What is your Digg URL so I know which vote was yours?

Hey Garry,
Thanks for that article, as I go along with this venture I need to be reminded of some of the things that can make a difference. I know all about stumble and digg and I’ve read some pretty cool reports about these two giants and for some reason I just keep forgetting the great opportunity they present. So I’m making some “notes to self” and hopefully I’ll start moving more and more in this direction. But I also agree with you when you say that you should try not to digg or stumble yourself, it makes more sense to get others to do it, yet it presents more work! :(

Charlie,

You got to do what you got to do sometimes. Now places like Digg and SU, you have a track record and people can clearly see right through your motives if you’re digging yourself etc… it is a little more work trying to find someone to Digg it for you, but if you have a bunch of online friends you have worked hard on helping, then they don’t mind doing little trivial things for you.
