Digg Can Make You Money Online
In this video you will learn how I game Digg differently than most other people. Most people use Digg in hopes to their their Digg submission popular enough to land on the Digg.com front page. If you can make that happen, the amount of traffic you get will probably crash your server! However, the chases of that happening are slim to none, plus the traffic is just a big burst that can cause more damage than anything else. In my video I show you how I use Digg to my advantage to promote my articles in underdeveloped blogs that totally suck in ranking in the search results.

How does Garry Conn make money online? Well.. the answer is simple. I only blog about things that make me money. I look in the search engines and find areas where I can easily compete with and land a sweet spot in the SERPs. I have been using this strategy for about a year and it my trademark, this is what I do… this is how I make money online with a blog. Thanks for the tips. I discovered that about Digg a long time ago, oh and just because someone has no rank from google doesn’t mean they can’t make front page of google. Just thought I’d let your readers know that.

Hi Garry,
a few points of improvement for your videos:
- it’s suboptimal to have a light right behind you, this darkens your face, which is no more clear to see
- personally I don’t like that the cam follows your movement, it distracts me. I preferr a steady cam
- try to talk a little bit slower, I know you’re exited about what you’re talking, but not everybody (like me) knows english as a native language. It is possible to comunicate passion about a topic also talking slowly.
As last tip: join a Toastmaster club (toastmasters.org), it will not only emprove your speeking skills, but you’ll learn also a lot about personal development, know a lot of people and have tons of fun !

I’ve never thought to use a program like Micro Niche Finder (I own Niche Inspector) for the purpose of find blogpostsubjects. I was using it only for finding keywords around which develop entire niche sites, but your suggestion to use it for single post topics is great.

Great videos Garry. Your tips about using Digg are great. I find that if I submit my articles to multiple social news sites, my articles rank very well in Google.

Regarding Digg, isn’t that liable to get you banned by submitting posts from the same source over and over again?
I could also see Google devaluing those Digg links (and other social media links) if it creates significant problems in polluting their search results. :-X

Without a doubt! but here is the thing… people are going to do it anyway. So, you might as well do it right!
I could very well see Google devaluing Digg links too. The strategy I mention could easily be abused or used in a constructive fashion. If you use Digg and write up a well written description, to me that is useful content. However, if you write a post that says… “hey check this out…” then that isn’t really contributing anything.

That was a great tip on Digg - never thought about it (as usual). I was confused at first, but finally got what you meant. It’s about getting good search engine placement via third party well-ranked sites, isn’t it?
Just realised how opposite you and David’s video styles are - the enthusiasm you bring through is amazing, while David talks much slower but no less clearer and interesting. Keep to it man!

That was a really interesting video on Digg, I’d never considered it myself, but had noticed you had been posting links to Digg articles recently, so assumed there must be a good reason somewhere!
I’m also going to take a look at Micro Niche Finder, looks like a cool prpgram to be using.
