Wake Up and Smell The After Christmas Money
Last month I blogged about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I wrote a post here on GCDC and even took the time to upload a YouTube video. Willingly, I gave all my secrets away and told everyone “point blank” what I do to make money online and most importantly, I revealed how blogging during the holidays can make you even more money.
Today is the day after Christmas, and from what I can see, unless many of you guys have hidden blogs, not a single person wrote a single post about Christmas or any of the popular products being exchanged during this time.
This morning I woke up around 5:00 to check my account and saw that it was already up to $94 dollars. It only comes once per year where I can wake up and just smell the after Christmas money. You could have too. Last month when I wrote the post that explained how much money I made during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I assured my readers that this was only the beginning. I assured my readers that if you missed the Black Friday and Cyber Monday band wagon, to feel comfortable knowing that this is only the beginning.
Everything in my video I am doing right now… and it’s working. I have so much traffic coming into my sites that my server is bugging out and on the verge of crashing. Sometimes I really wonder if people truly read my blog? I don’t see anyone blogging about Christmas. Your loss, my gain… and I wish it wasn’t that way. I have opened my arms and invited competition. Many times I have said that there is plenty of room for you and I.
If you want to make money online, then definitely read my blog. However, after reading my blog and after deciding NOT to do the things I suggest or teach, then don’t come back asking me, “How Do I Make Money Online?”, as if I never explained this. You can’t cherry pick this business. I reveal many answers that many other bloggers don’t reveal. I often wonder why I do this. I have practically memorized the SERPs and I see who I am competing with. I do WHOIS searches and investigate addresses etc… and you’re not there. You’re not blogging about Christmas and to me that makes me feel like I have wasted my time.

No new blogs in last 30 days. Of course you know I post a fraction of what you do. What I did before Christmas is rolling right along.

Congrats on the killer sales for the past couple of days Garry.
I don’t understand why you would consider the information you have shared as if you are wasting your time.
A couple of important things I think you need to consider. One, everyone has their own path, and your destination is not necessarily theirs. Two, you will never know exactly how many lives you may have changed this holiday season with your advice. If it is just one person, be thankful you have made a positive impact on that one life. Be proud knowing that because of you, at least one person reading your blog their life has changed for the better. I’m sure it is more, but don’t sweat the numbers.
Happy New Year!

@ David,
Yes… I know, but I guess I am just old school and prefer things the manual way… however, we both know that having a good balance and mix between mashup stuff and manually written content works amazing! I really hope things have been going well for you man and look forward to getting out of this busy season… I have been doing nothing but blogging since immediately after Christmas and it will continue this way for close to two weeks.

@ Cary,
Very very very true! Thank you for that. And you are totally right and that makes me happy knowing that.
I can name more than one!

-Garry, And the balance is the key especially when you consider available time. We do almost exactly the same thing, you just have more time to blog than I do. Since I have been programming for 20+ years, programming takes a lot less time than writing for me. I think that makes me more like ancient school, lol…..
Although you should know, I blog more now than ever before.

I posted many links to deals for After Christmas sales, but it seemed like no one cared. I didn’t even use an affiliate link either!

Mike, I target search engine traffic. It is a 100% guarantee that the traffic I get will be interested in the content I write when they come from search. Why?? Because they searched for it! What site(s) did you blog about Christmas? I would like to take a look.
