Be careful about clicking links on FaceBook lately. It seems there’s quite a few different virus strings going around. One of which is an application that claims to allow users to see who has been viewing their profile or photos.

FaceBook announced on their official Fan Page yesterday that people can’t see who’s been viewing their profile or photos. If you notice anything fishy, you can notify FaceBook about it here.

Thanks for this little bit of information. My inbox has lately been full of such messages. After clicking on a few, I have realised that none of them seem to work anyway.
All the ones I have seen don’t work either. Luckily they don’t have the .com, .net, .org, extensions in the URL string. Were you finding the same thing?
I have a friend who joined one of these type of applications and after that she’s been receiving messages that her account has been hacked or something like that. Their is really something fishy about these type of applications.
I hate these apps more than anything, thanks for posting that link… I’ll be sure to start reporting those groups that promote these.
