The key to having a successful blog is in being different. No matter what you do, you can always count on their being competition and that is fine. However, it’s not about the topic you write about, its about HOW you write about it and what sets you apart from everyone else.

What can you do differently that no one else is doing? What can you write about that no one else is wrting about? People use the Internet to search for information, they use the Internet to search for things that entertain them, and they search for thing on the Internet that will educate them.

Understanding that might actually help you become a better blogger. Sometimes it’s not about what you write… a lot of the time is about how you write it that counts.
