You get the idea. The updates are still treasures for me today. I bet all the information in it is available in one form or another for free but it's not organized and codified into one document that is easy to scan and search. Paying $79 for that shouldn't be expensive if you're serious about this; if you're not sure if you're serious then read Aaron's blog and all the other resources for free until you can afford to become serious about it.
