Windows Vista or Bubble Wrap?

What is more important, Windows Vista or bubble wrap? According to my 9 year old son, bubble wrap is more important! Something about a child’s perspective on things that adults feel is important always cracks me up! Microsoft has a multi-billion dollar business and upon receiving a copy of their latest and greatest operating system my  9 year old son just wants to to pop the bubble wrap, I love it! It is pretty funny how kids place a value on things that adults could careless about… although, bubble wrap… I think many adults enjoy popping bubble wrap as a way of relieving stress.

I Have Windows Vista!

Ok… so now what? A few months ago, I ordered a new Dell Laptop and it came with a $10.00 shipping and handling upgrade to Windows Vista. I could have had my copy a long time ago, but was too lazy to order it. At any rate, I have my copy now… So, I guess I am off to upgrading my laptop. I am concerned though, because I am not sure what my upgrade options are… whether I should do a clean install and wipe everything out,  or just do an upgrade and all my existing files, folders, pictures, videos, etc… are still there (or if I even have these options??)

I guess before I do anything, I need to do a dreaded backup of my files and crap like that before I attempt to install. I have so many pictures, videos, etc… that I don’t want to get lost in the process. So I might not install Vista right this minute.
