Would You Tip Your Waitress More Money Just Because She Is Hot?

In my previous post I asked, “How much do you tip your waitress?” But perhaps the better question to ask is do you have the tendency to tip your waitress more just because she is hot? Seriously, if your waitress is just absolutely SMOKING, are you going to give her more money simply for that fact? What about service? Are you more forgiven with mistakes just because she shows off her boobs and gives you a big smile as she apologizes for spilling hot coffee in your lap causing you to never to be able to have kids again?

Before you answer this, seriously… take a moment and think about it and be honest. I think that many younger waitresses use their looks to make up for a lack in performing their jobs effectively. I also too think that older waitresses might not get as high tips even though they provide a better service just because they are older and less appealing due to their age.

Is my guess wrong? Well… tell me otherwise, I am sure that waitresses of all shapes, colors and sizes will receive nice tips for providing a great service; however, if you have a 24 year old HOT, SMOKING waitress showing off her ta tas in what appears to be a bra that is about to explode and two sizes too small who provides equal service compared to the others described, will she end up getting more money?

Hell yeah she will get more money I would say 9 times out of 10. It is kind of unfair and harsh, but hey, life isn’t fair.

Ok, I have to get in on this one. Most people know me as a writer/blogger, but in the real world, I’m a waitress and I have to answer this as honestly as I can. Unfortunately, most younger waitresses do get better tips because they’ve got more “assets”. It sucks.

Older waitresses have way more experience and most times are working to support their families. There is a lot more to waiting tables than just providing people with food and drink. You’ve got to have a personality that will win both men and women over, you’ve got to be able to stand on your feet for hours on end, and you’ve got to enjoy all the fine french fragrances (french fries, french toast, french dip).

A waitress should only be tipped on her abilities, not her attributes.

I have seen it happened and did it often too. If my waitress is hot and very nice … I tend to give her more. But I do give male waitress the same amount if they are nice..

Sure, when I’m drunk! Seriously though, I always tip 15-20% depending on the service…I have tipped like 5% a few odd times when I had unbelievably god-awful service. But on the other hand, I’ve also tipped 25-30% when the service was especially amazing or if I was part of a big party that required extra special attention/was taking up a bunch of tables or something similar.

You had better know it. If the waitress is hot, she’s getting a really good tip regardless. As long as there is a bit of personality and can put up with my torments. She’s earned it, and the tip is good.
