Writing About Really Bad Blogs Might Be A Really Bad Idea
Is there such a thing as a really bad blog? Maybe so, because if it wasn’t true, there would be no need for Ruby Stone, a 32 year old freelance female writer from Georgia, to create a blog where she writes about all the blogs in the blogosphere that she feels are terrible.
The good news!
On May 10th, 2007 she wrote a very long and extensive article about my blog and voiced her opinions about me as a writer and a blog author as well as voiced some opinions about you (my reader).
Garry, are you a middle school aged girl?
and…
Oh, and his readers must be idiots too, because first he explains to them what concentrated orange juice is and then he offers to embed videos for them, because they surely don’t know how to cut and paste.
The *gooder news!
* I guess if I am a middle school girl, I should talk like one! lol
The *gooder new is that we all must be doing a better job as bloggers as it has been over one month since her last post. Perhaps, if Ruby spent less time ranting about successful blogs she is jealous about and spent more time being an open armed and inviting person who cares to help others, maybe her blog wouldn’t be the ghost town it is today.
I am all about helping others and I thought that maybe I could send some traffic her way. Apparently the freelance writer from Georgia has run into a case of writers block and has nothing else to write… Maybe with this encouraging article, that will change for her.
I almost hate to link to you, Garry, because it means more traffic for you, but just consider it a badge of honor to be posted here.
Well, Ms. Ruby Stone, freelance writer of Georgia… you should never second guess yourself. And unfortunately for you… your post just adds more content anchored to my name. In the long run you are helping aid me in gaining even more traffic to my blog. Next time you have a rant about a blog that you feel is better… it might not be such a good idea to blog about it, because in the long run of things… your posts only help and aid the bloggers who you dislike.
I wish you the best with your blogging ventures… feel free to stop by anytime if you require any help. It’s a good thing that I build concrete bridges instead of wood ones… because surly you are burning many with the posts you have written about other bloggers in the blogosphere.
Enjoy the free publicity!

Hmmm, well Garry after reading her other thoughts on other blogs I must say you are in good company. Well, that or I just REALLY love bad blogs. I saw that Celebrity Babies was on there as well and the funny thing is they make it in the news and magazines, so not saying much about what she likes. Can’t wait to hear what blog she hates next.

I hope that she chooses this one, I need the added exposure and I am sure that it is much badd’er than this site!

Oh man, she does have her issues, doesn’t she? Well, I was taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I guess she didn’t get that memo. So rather than announcing “Flame on!”, I’m going to show some restraint and let her be.
But I will say this: your handled your post responsibly, Garry.

It doesn’t anger me. If this is the worst of my problems in life, then I am doing, OK! My only issue is that she hasn’t kept up with the blog… and what puzzles me is how different my blog is from the other four of five that she wrote about.

Lets face it though if she attacks enough high profile blogs (and you all respond) she’ll end up with some great backlinks…

That is the goal for me. I want to just kill her with kindness and traffic! lol and after checking MBL today, it appears that her site is my most popular outgoing link!

Garry,
If you’re going to be that nice I intend to bash you in my next post

I always go by the saying, “Bad breath is better than no breath at all!” So if you are looking to increase backlinks, readers and traffic… bad publicity is better than none at all. This post is actually a live example of this. Rudy could pose herself as the most “hated” blogger in the blogosphere and with her crafty skills could become the most popular blogger in the blogosphere! I think though, it does require more than 5 posts, and she might be better off attacking bigger fish is the sea… by my site is a good start and its almost pleasing to see that my site is a contender for bashing.

Well handled, Garry. I believe such people are left alone.. as her blog indicates everybody has been doing just that anyways!
