Writing Job: Make Money Blogging About Celebrity Gossip

Do you keep up with all the celebrity news and gossip? Would you like to make money online writing about it? As you may know, I own a lot of different blogs; however, keeping up with them all can be a challenge. A lot of the blogs I own are under developed, as I am sure that you can imagine. Amazingly though, even though I am not able to be at 100 places at the same time, a lot of these under developed blogs make a pretty decent passive income. However, I want more and the only way I can get more is to accept the fact that I can’t do it all by myself.

I need writing partners. Today, I am looking for a person who absolutely loves the celebrity gossip and news niche. I am looking for someone who is just glued to the tabloids and follows all the stories about famous celebrities and wants to join with me in a writing venture to make money online blogging about celebrity gossip and news.

I am looking for someone who can blog full-time - between 3 to 5 posts per day - on my blog titled, Celebrity Access. The blog is a PR2 and is doing quite well in Google, as content gets picked up and indexed usually within 30 minutes to an hour after posting. Automatically, search engine traffic is there.

The blog is monetized with Google AdSense. Compensation for the writer will be offered by allowing the writer to display their Google AdSense code on the post pages as well as the home page!

The job of the writer is to produce between 3 to 5 posts per day on the blog. Each blog post should be rich in unique and quality content. The blog is very picture friendly, I recommend the use of pictures in every post. Additionally, the design of the blog allows for embedded YouTube videos to display perfectly.

My job is to actively promote and market the blog which includes submitting the newly posted content into social networks such as Digg, StumbleUpon and Propeller. Additionally I will be neighboring up with similar blogs and build relationships with the authors which will lead to link exchanges and cross promotions.

If you’re up to the challenge and are good at digging up the celebrity dirt and covering the latest in celebrity news and gossip, then I have a wonderful writing opportunity for you.

Drop me a comment on this post if you’re interested. I will be contacting each and every person who leaves a comment. Also, don’t think that you missed the boat if a lot of people comment before you. The order of the comments hold no weight towards being considered. I am looking for the right person for the job, not the first person to comment. :)

I wish I could be your partner in writing to enrich the blog, but I too own many blogs which sometimes forces me to chose which one deserve (or must) to be taking care off more, so sorry I’m not able to participate with you. But if you don’t mind i’d like to questioning you several questions, how do you maintain your blogs at the same times, because i see you’re actively update several of your blogs everyday with about 2-3 posting for each blog…that’s amazing. How do you motivate yourself & how to find ideas that can be transformed into words so quickly as you do everyday?

Secondly, as the compensation for the writer he’s allowed to displays his Adsense code both on post pages & homepage, is yours too will be displayed on the blog? If that so, isn’t that against Google TOS to display 2 different publishers id at the same blog?

Thank you

Hi Garry,

I’d love to do this. I was actually surfing TMZ and Access Hollywood just before I read this post. I’m a total news junkie, especially when it comes to celebrity gossip and the latest Hollywood scandals.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Chris

HI Garry,

my comment is totally OT, but I submit it anyway.
You know I love to analyze themes and you create very creative ones. The theme of Celebrity Access looks great, but IMHO there is missing something. I suppose that the majority of the visitors comes from search engines and once they have read a post (for example about Jennifer Aniston) they have (while there is missing a search box and categories) no way to read another post about Jennifer Aniston except by clicking on the tags at the end of the post, but this often (at least in my experience) are very specific (in the case of Jennifer Aniston they lead all to the same original post) and it’s purpose is more for SEO than for readers.
I think you should at least add a search box.

ciao

There isn’t enough content to work with yet. However, once there is a good amount of content, then for sure related posts options will be added and possibly a search bar will be added. I just don’t think many people use a search bar on blogs and as you can see pretty much every pixel is accounted for on this theme, so I don’t want to waste the space.

These elements have totally been considered, but I just don’t think its the best option for the blog at this time. The tagging is very accurate, but I think the lack of content on the blog right now isn’t allowing that system to shine through just yet. Thanks for the suggestion however. :)

While I am not into the whole celeb gossip scene, this should be a good money maker for you and whoever joins you. Good luck with it!

That’s a great theme. Is it one of your designs?

A little OT. How do you get pics for a blog like that? I know there are celebrity pics all over the net, but who owns the copyright and how do you get permission to use them?

Damn, if only this blog was about the varying texture of carpet fibers…. then I would have been perfect for the writing job!!

Oh well…. such is life, and life is such.

I like the design, visited it earlier today or yesterday (all these days merge into one!) and wondered if it was still possible to make money with such a thing these days, being that there is so many gossip sites. I guess that’s your specialty though.
